Job summary

Carriera Limited seeks a Senior to Associate level Fire Engineer for its London team. The role covers fire strategies, design for remediation projects, and design reviews, with exposure to cladding and safety case work.

The position offers a visible impact in a growing team, with mentorship and development support, flexible hybrid working (1 day in office, 4 at home or site), and opportunities toward Chartered status.

Qualifications

• You will ideally have a fire engineering degree with professional accreditation.
• Over four years' experience in a fire engineering consultancy environment.
• IFE membership at Technician grade or above and pursuing chartered status.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fire strategies and retrospective fire strategies across buildings and sectors.
• Provide fire engineering design for cladding and compartmentation remediation projects.
• Undertake qualitative design reviews as part of project teams.
• Offer specialist technical advice to clients and colleagues.
• Attend sites with contractors for intrusive investigations.
• Contribute to the delivery and development of fire engineering projects.
