Job summary

IFE is seeking a skilled professional to deliver fire strategy design and risk analysis in Glasgow. Candidates should possess an MSc or MEng in Fire Engineering, with industry experience and knowledge of building regulations.

The role involves developing fire strategies for both new builds and existing structures while complying with regulations under the Building Safety Act 2022. Additional responsibilities include technical leadership and contributing to safety case reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Fire Engineering.
• MIFireE or working towards membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers.
• Experience in supporting Gateway 2 submissions.

Responsibilities

• Develop fire strategies from RIBA Stage 2–6.
• Provide performance-based analysis where required.
