Job summary

Elite Hire is seeking a Fire Engineer to develop fire strategies for residential, commercial, and higher-risk buildings across the UK. You will write detailed fire safety information, perform analysis including smoke and evacuation modelling, and advise architects and design teams on means of escape and fire protection.

You'll participate in site inspections, review existing fire safety measures, and support FRAEW and EWS1 assessments as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Fire Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years in fire engineering or fire strategy consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of Approved Document B, BS 9999 and BS 9991.
• Understanding of the Building Safety Act and higher-risk building regime.
• Clear report writing and confident client communication.
