You will manage complex projects from concept to technical delivery, mentoring juniors and progressing toward chartership. The role requires UK project experience, strong communication with clients and stakeholders, and delivery-focused skills in a specialist consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Fire Engineering or related discipline.
• Senior-level fire engineering consultancy experience.
• CEng status or actively progressing toward chartership.
• Strong UK fire engineering project experience.
• Confident client-facing and technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire engineering projects through design and technical delivery.
• Prepare fire strategies, reports, calculations and design documentation.
• Undertake smoke, evacuation, zone and CFD modelling.
• Review designs and develop practical fire-engineered solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical project leadership.
• Attend meetings with architects, developers, clients and statutory authorities for guidance throughout project delivery.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead fire engineering projects through design and technical delivery
• Prepare fire strategies, reports, calculations and design documentation
• Undertake smoke, evacuation, zone and CFD modelling

You will also attend meetings with architects, developers, clients and statutory authorities, providing clear technical guidance throughout project delivery.

Skills & Experience Required

You should have experience across new-build and existing buildings, with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple technically demanding projects independently.
