Hunter Dunning Limited is seeking an Associate Director of Fire Engineering in the North West to lead the development of a new fire engineering service within an established built environment consultancy.

The role suits a senior fire engineer with strong technical and commercial capability, responsible for fire strategies, design and compliance across healthcare, education, logistics, residential, commercial, mixed-use and high-rise projects while growing the team and client base.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex Fire Engineering projects.
• Degree in Fire Engineering, Structural Eng or related field.
• Chartered Engineer preferred; nearing chartership considered.
• Strong knowledge of fire legislation and PAS 9980.
• Commercial and client development capability.

Skills & Experience Required

• Demonstrable experience leading complex Fire Engineering projects
• Relevant Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering or related degree
• Chartered Engineer preferred; candidates nearing chartership considered
• Strong fire legislation, guidance and PAS 9980 knowledge
• Commercial, client development and technical leadership capability
