Job summary

Hunter Dunning is seeking an Associate Director Fire Engineering in the North West to lead the development of a new fire engineering service within an established built environment consultancy.

The role suits a senior fire engineer with strong technical and commercial capability, covering fire strategies, design and compliance across healthcare, education, logistics, residential, commercial, mixed-use and high-rise projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience leading complex Fire Engineering projects.
• Relevant Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering or related degree.
• Chartered Engineer preferred; candidates nearing chartership considered.
• Strong fire legislation, guidance and PAS 9980 knowledge.
• Commercial, client development and technical leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Produce fire strategies, reports and technical design advice.
• Build and develop the technical team.
