Job summary

Magenta International is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to service, maintain, install and commission fire alarm systems across London and the Home Counties. You will work across offices, retail, industrial and educational environments, ensuring high standards of technical support and customer service.

The role emphasises fault finding, compliance with BS5839, and independent field work with strong client relationships. A valid UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience servicing, maintaining and installing fire alarm systems.
• FIA Installation and Maintenance Modules or equivalent training.
• Experience with open and closed protocol systems and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM visits on fire alarm systems.
• Diagnose and rectify faults on conventional and addressable systems.
• Complete commissioning of new installations.
• Undertake small works, remedial repairs and upgrades.
• Ensure BS5839 compliance and accurate service reports.
