Leeds Building Society is seeking a Financial Operations Control Manager in Leeds to lead the control framework for payments, regulatory compliance and operational resilience. You will provide senior control leadership across Financial Operations, ensuring robust governance and reporting.

You'll work hybrid with two days in the office, influence regulatory teams, and drive horizon scanning, annual compliance activities and incident management to protect member interests and the Society's

• Experience in payments regulatory environment and risk management.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls and reports.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and ability to challenge where needed.
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication.
• Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
• Self-driven and able to work independently to deliver results.

Responsabilités

• Own, maintain and improve the Financial Operations Control Framework across payment, regulatory and operational resilience obligations.
• Lead regulatory gap analysis and horizon scanning for Financial Operations, including PSRs, EMIR and SFTR requirements.
• Coordinate key annual compliance activities, including SCA review, Confirmation of Payee attestation, PCI reviews and policy or standards updates.
• Monitor payment scheme compliance, document impacts and expectations, and communicate requirements to relevant stakeholders.
• Own and maintain risk, control and incident records, coordinating critical control testing and recommending improvements.
• Maintain operational resilience and reporting outputs, including FMI playbooks, dashboards, insurance inputs, BCP, BIA, OCIR and KPR updates.
