Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Senior Financial Crime Analyst to join the Actions Squad and own global risk controls across MBL and MBEU. You’ll use data to monitor performance, identify threats and drive improvements while balancing risk and customer experience.

You’ll work with Finance Crime, Operations, Product and Engineering to deliver compliant and customer-focused solutions, lead cross-functional initiatives and handle complex portfolio priorities on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Strong financial crime and regulatory compliance expertise.
• Ability to use data to understand control performance and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience working across Product, Operations and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own global risk controls for Exit & Defunds, Law Enforcement and Acceptable Use Standard with end-to-end BAU oversight.
• Develop and improve control documentation, balancing risk, efficiency and customer experience.
• Monitor control effectiveness using data and identify emerging threats.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across Product, Operations and Engineering.
