Monzo is seeking a Senior Financial Crime Analyst to join the Actions Squad. You will own key financial crime controls across Monzo Bank Limited and Monzo Bank Europe, working with Financial Crime, Operations, Product and Engineering to identify risks and strengthen controls.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement, with ownership of incidents and domain expertise in your areas.

Competenze

• Strong financial crime and regulatory compliance expertise.
• Experience using data to monitor control performance and identify weaknesses.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and leadership audiences.

Mansioni

• Own and improve global risk controls for Exit & Defunds, Law Enforcement and Acceptable Use Standard across MBL and MBUEU.
• Develop and improve control documentation balancing risk, efficiency and customer experience.
• Use data/trends to monitor control effectiveness and identify emerging threats.
• Ensure coverage as Monzo launches new products or enters new areas.
• Identify and prioritise material risks and present evidence-based recommendations to leadership.
• Lead investigations and remediation within your control areas and collaborate with other owners.
