Job summary

The West Brom is seeking a Financial Crime Advisory Manager & DMLRO to lead financial crime prevention during a major digital transformation. The role involves ensuring risk frameworks, regulatory alignment and acting as deputy MLRO, with close collaboration with senior management and external partners.

The ideal candidate will have extensive AML/financial crime experience in a financial institution and hold an AML qualification, with preference for online savings project exposure.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in financial crime/AML within a financial institution.
• Holder of a relevant Financial Crime/AML qualification (Certificate level minimum).
• Transformation project experience including online savings applications desirable.
• Online savings transactional fraud experience a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyse regulatory output in Financial Crime matters and prepare recommendations and action plans.
• Author and maintain the Financial Crime Risk Management Framework and the Firm Wide Financial Crime Risk Assessment.
• Act as the product owner/ SME for financial crime during the digital transformation programme.
• Deputise for the Head of Compliance & MLRO as required.
• Represent the Society in trade and regulator forums with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
