Job summary

West Brom is seeking a Financial Crime Advisory Manager & DMLRO to lead financial crime prevention as we transform our online savings capability. The role will deputise the Head of Compliance & MLRO, maintain the Financial Crime Risk Management Framework, and oversee risk assessments across the Society.

You will represent the Society in regulator forums, liaise with senior management, and ensure compliance with FCA, JMLSG and other guidance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in financial crime/AML within a financial institution.
• Certificate-level or higher Financial Crime/AML qualification.
• Experience with transformation projects including online savings applications.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Analyse regulatory outputs in Financial Crime and prepare action plans.
• Author and maintain the Financial Crime Risk Management Framework and risk assessment.
• Act as product owner/SME for financial crime during digital transformation.
• Deputise for Head of Compliance & MLRO as required.
• Represent the Society in regulator forums with a solution-focused attitude.
• Maintain knowledge of FCA, JMLSG and related guidance.
• Identify Financial Crime risks and develop proportionate controls.
• Hold regular meetings with Senior Management to share learnings.
