Qualifications

• Hands-on experience across management accounts, balance sheet ownership, and year-end processes.
• Able to forecast, monitor, and manage liquidity in a growing business.
• Experience preparing and reviewing VAT submissions.
• Comfortable leading audit preparation and working with auditors.
• Ability to translate financial data into practical guidance.
• Knows when to elevate issues with clear rationale.
• Can operate in a fast-moving environment without losing control.
• Able to communicate financial matters simply to non-finance stakeholders.
• Can manage expectations and prioritize effectively.
• Comfortable being in the detail and executing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day running of finance operations ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Take responsibility for management accounts and month-end close.
• Maintain robust ownership of the balance sheet.
• Manage short- and medium-term cashflow forecasting.
• Lead preparation for year-end accounts and audits.
• Prepare and review VAT submissions ensuring compliance.
• Apply technical accounting knowledge to daily finance matters.
• Provide practical advice on financial implications of operational decisions.
