Job description

Position Summary

This role is within the International Finance team and will lead the review, monitoring, and analysis of Sales & Marketing, General, Administration, and Insurance costs across the International offices. The role ensures variances are fully understood and reported and collaborates closely with the Finance team in Weybridge and globally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Report to the FP&A Manager and support the International Finance Team.
2. Review and track costs, analyze variances against forecasts, and explain these to Senior Leadership and Head Office.
3. Participate in the Annual Operating Plan and monthly Forecast processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and risk identification.
4. Partner with in-market Finance and Commercial teams to ensure adherence to financial procedures and controls.
5. Assist in maintaining and improving departmental reporting, liaising with relevant stakeholders.
6. Support the administration of the Financial System/EPM (PBCS).
7. Perform additional duties as required, as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
• Good analytical degree and 'A' levels.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

• Proactive self-starter capable of working independently and in teams.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to perform own analysis.
• Experience in the travel industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Minimum three years in an Accounting or Finance role.
• Experience with analytical or planning/EPM tools is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills (including macros) and knowledge of database software like Microsoft Access are advantageous.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in a large international and multi-currency environment is beneficial.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
