We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant on an initial 18-month contract basis with the possibility of longer term opportunities depending on business needs. The successful candidate will be a key member of the UK Finance Team and will be responsible for end-to-end accounting practice processes involved in the month-end and year-end finance close. They will also be involved in supporting the audits of the UK operating entity and UK Holding entity.
Location:
Blackfriars, London (hybrid, min. three days per week in the office - Tues, Weds, Thurs)
What We Are Looking For:
Reporting to the European Financial Controller you will demonstrate capability in two core finance activities:
As part of this role you’ll be managing an assistant accountant, who’s current focuses include: accounts payables, prepayments, accruals and bank reconciliations.
You will assist in maintaining the financial records for our two UK entities using Sage Intacct.
You will be a key point of contact for the annual audits (local and group), UK tax assessments and other ad-hoc assignments.
This role is for a key member in a highly motivated team who enjoys using data and numbers to generate insights and improve our business. The successful candidate will be comfortable communicating with colleagues of all levels within the business, have an eye for detail and be an outcome focused individual with a ‘can-do’/hands on attitude.
