Job summary

Partner Financial, in collaboration with a leading international consumer business, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead the financial reporting function. You will manage statutory reporting, internal controls and the external audit process, delivering accurate and timely information.

The role requires a qualified accountant with IFRS/UK GAAP expertise, strong analytical skills and proven ability to lead and develop a small finance team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Proven experience managing statutory reporting and external audit processes.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reporting submissions, ensuring accuracy and timetables.
• Lead preparation and review of statutory financial statements under IFRS/UK GAAP.
• Manage external audit process and act as primary liaison with auditors.
• Own internal control environment including internal audit and compliance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, transfer pricing and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee month-end close and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and challenge high-risk accounts.
• Oversee central cost reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain and enhance financial controls and governance framework.
• Support finance transformation, automation and process improvements.
• Manage, coach and develop a team of three finance professionals.
• Ensure timely delivery of all reporting, compliance and control activities.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to support team development.
