Job summary

Sellick Partnership is supporting a Midlands NHS organisation in recruiting an Assistant Senior Financial Accountant on a fixed-term basis (6-9 months). The role is based in Birmingham with hybrid working (2 days on site) and offers a salary of £39,959 - £48,117 per annum.

The post requires CCAB part qualification, NHS finance experience in technical accounting, and supervisory experience to manage the Accounts Payable Officer and Financial Accounts Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of the Finance Pack for the Trust.
• Assisting with monthly monitoring of expenditure against the Capital Programme.
• Reporting of Capital expenditure.
• Preparation and maintenance of the Trust's Capital Asset Register.
• Assisting with the preparation of the Annual Accounts and Charitable Accounts.
• Leading on the quarterly Agreement of Balances exercise.
• Day-to-day management of the Accounts Payable Officer and Financial Accounts Assistant.
