Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a commercially focused finance leader in Birmingham to partner with stakeholders, steer budgeting, forecasting and reporting, and support strategic decisions.

In a not-for-profit context, you will lead a finance team, drive process improvements and digital transformation across the function, and provide insightful financial analysis to inform leadership on key initiatives.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Proven experience in finance business partnering and stakeholder management.
• Previous experience leading and developing teams.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience.
• Understanding of digital transformation and implementing process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
• Analytical, commercially minded and solutions-focused.

Responsibilities

• Partner with budget holders and operational leaders to provide financial guidance and challenge.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Produce management accounts, financial analysis and performance reporting.
• Support grant and donor reporting requirements.
• Provide insight into financial performance and key business initiatives.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, controls and reporting.
• Support digital transformation initiatives and the adoption of innovative finance solutions.
• Lead and develop finance team members while promoting best practice across the function.
