Our client is a nationally significant organisation delivering a multi-billion-pound infrastructure programme. Operating within a highly complex environment, they require experienced finance professionals who can provide strategic insight, robust financial management, and strong stakeholder engagement to ensure value for money for the taxpayer.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial support to senior leaders, influencing decision-making and cost management.
• Embed a culture of accountability, cost control, and productivity across supported directorates.
• Lead on financial planning, budgeting, reforecasting, and cash flow submissions.
• Deliver clear and insightful reporting, variance analysis, and performance interventions.
• Review and challenge business cases and funding requests to ensure value for money.
• Oversee financial controls, governance, and compliance with HM Treasury requirements.

Profile / Qualifications
