This position is accountable for the efficient and effective administration of the hotel's Accounts, including Receivable management, and for controlling Finance-related policies and procedures, utilizing systems to automate tasks.

Key Accountabilities
- Preparing monthly VAT submissions in accordance with HMRC regulations
- Managing the Residences area within the hotel, including providing monthly invoices for direct and allocated costs, services, and service charge breakdowns
- Providing monthly cross-charges between hotel and retail units according to lease agreements
- Managing the Accounts Payable and Income Audit sections within the hotel finance department
- Assisting the Assistant Director of Finance and Director of Finance to ensure compliance with finance policies and procedures
- Ensuring the accuracy of internal reporting, supervising account reconciliations, analysis, and month-end closing procedures
- Supporting the month-end process, including financial statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliation
General Requirements
- At least 3 years of accounting experience in hospitality or residential environments; supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Friendly personality with a passion for working with processes and people
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; adaptable and positive
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
