If so, Signature Recruitment has an exceptional opportunity for you to join our client, a pioneering climate technology innovator based in Bristol. This is a permanent position offering £70,000 - £90,000 plus benefits.

As the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the day-to-day operational finance function while supporting strategic initiatives that contribute to the company's mission of tackling climate change.

Senior Finance Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the operational finance function, including statutory accounting, management accounts, and reporting
• Oversee tax compliance across both UK and US operations, managing R&D tax credits and EIS strategies
• Supervise contractors and third parties for bookkeeping, payroll, and specialist finance areas
• Work closely with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling
• Support fundraising efforts and investor relations while managing compliance requirements

Senior Finance Manager Key Skills:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 7+ years experience combining accounting firm and in-house roles
• Proven track record of managing financial operations, ideally within a startup environment
• Experience with both UK and US financial systems, regulations, and reporting would be desirable but not essential
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to continuous improvement
• Mission-driven approach with passion for sustainability and climate innovation
