Job summary

UKI Finance RP is seeking a Finance Data Engineer to shape the finance ontology, lineage and data contracts drawn from ERP and EPM systems to support auditable, machine‑readable data products for AI and analytics.

You will design pipelines from SAP, Oracle, Workday and EPM, implement security controls, and collaborate with AI engineers and finance SMEs to deliver scalable data solutions on cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Production data engineering with SQL, Python and a modern data platform (Databricks, Snowflake or Fabric).
• ETL/ELT, data testing, Git and CI/CD experience essential.
• Can justify definitional standards with canonical/semantic models and data contracts.
• Experience extracting from ERP/operational systems via APIs or data pipelines.
• Secure data engineering practices: access controls, encryption and retention.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend finance ontology and data contracts for governance and lineage.
• Engineer data pipelines from SAP, Oracle, Workday and EPM into governed data products.
• Implement entity resolution and reference data capabilities across sources.
• Establish audit-ready lineage with quality checks, reconciliations and observability.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and finance SMEs to translate requirements into data products.
