Job summary

Nothing, a London-based technology company, is seeking a senior data engineer to architect and refine our data platform. You will own the data layer from ERP, HRIS, and telemetry inputs to a scalable, cost-efficient end-to-end solution that powers intelligent workflows across product, supply chain, and finance.

You will work with leaders across product, supply chain, commercial, and finance to build a reliable, trusted data foundation and normalised data models for internal decision-making.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to write code and build pipelines end-to-end.
• Experience integrating ERP/HRIS and telemetry data into unified data models.
• Understanding of cost and performance trade-offs in data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Map top data use cases with cross-functional leaders within 30–60 days.
• Refactor/connect ERP, HRIS, telemetry, and trackers into a cohesive data layer.
• Own end-to-end architecture and ship with accountability.
• Manage data platform costs and forecast per-user costs.
• Group overlaps into pragmatic build sequences without hacks.
• Build clean, normalised data foundation for internal workflows.
• Define data standards and quality controls for reusability.
