Job Description:

Ascent Recruitment is pleased to be exclusively supporting a business in Blackburn in its search for a Senior Finance Business Partner.

This is a senior-level role focused on partnering with stakeholders, improving processes, managing a small commercial team, and driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop reporting structures that meet stakeholder needs, from area managers to the Executive team, focusing on cost and KPIs.
• Deliver timely and accurate financial reports at the area level.
• Provide variance and cost analysis with recommendations.
• Identify and track performance improvement opportunities.
• Work with the Finance Systems Manager to improve reporting tools and efficiency.
• Prepare reports and budgets, including scenario analysis.
• Support forecasting and planning with the FP&A team.
• Promote financial understanding among non-finance colleagues.
