Job summary

Ocado Retail Limited is seeking an Associate in Financial Reporting to own the monthly balance sheet and cash flow delivery, and drive statutory reporting for M&S and Ocado Group. You will partner with stakeholders on leases and fixed assets, ensuring policy compliance and robust journal procedures.

Qualified ACA/ACCA with IFRS knowledge is required. The role reports to the Finance Manager – Financial Reporting, with hybrid working (Hatfield) and a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong IFRS/IAS knowledge including IFRS16, IAS16, IAS38, IAS36.
• Experience delivering statutory reporting and managing external audits.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly balance sheet and cash flow statement delivery.
• Lead statutory reporting to shareholders (M&S and Ocado Group).
• Act as finance partner for leases and fixed assets with stakeholders.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and maintain robust journal procedures.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors.
• Drive process improvements and reporting controls across systems.
