Senior Finance Analyst - FP&A, Stoke-on-Trent

Job Description:

You will be an integral part of the Business Planning, Analysis and Decision Support team. This role involves analyzing financial information and working closely with senior stakeholders across various departments such as Revenue, Operations, and IT. Your responsibilities include providing insightful analysis and recommendations to support growth and efficiency.

Key Duties:

1. Collaborate with different business areas to inform the planning cycle for forecasting and budgeting.
2. Develop and maintain financial models to analyze performance metrics and trends.
3. Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide financial insights.
4. Prepare business plans for new territories and conduct post-implementation reviews for future launches.
5. Perform variance analysis and identify process improvements.
6. Create and deliver reports and presentations to communicate financial findings and recommendations.
7. Support the implementation of financial systems and tools to streamline processes.
8. Participate in strategic projects with financial expertise and analysis.
9. Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests from departments to aid decision-making.

Requirements:

• ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, modeling, and working with large datasets.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and financial modeling.
• Familiarity with financial systems and data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
