We are looking for an FP&A Financial Analyst to support our Consumer products such as JustGiving .

JustGiving is the world’s most trusted platform for online giving. We help people raise money for the charities and people they care about the most. Fast forward 24 years and over $9 billion has been raised for good causes in almost every single country in the world.

The purpose of this role is to support the growth of the platform - it requires someone with strong financial acumen, experience in data modelling, and business partnering on key strategic initiatives. Reporting to the FP&A Manager of Payments, the successful candidate will serve as a key member of the Blackbaud FP&A function with frequent interaction with the JustGiving Senior Leadership Team and other senior stakeholders across the business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide data and modelling for the entire range of activities associated with the planning cycle from long-range planning models to forecasts and annual operating budgets
  • Own the analysis of B2C Donation KPIs – identify and track trends, review macroeconomic factors that could impact donations performance, and be able to succinctly explain variances in actuals to Budget and prior years
  • Lead the analysis required to evaluate investments and support new product introductions, through data modelling and producing Financial Business Cases. You are expected to challenge the Commercial team to ensure appropriate rigour and financial viability has been applied
  • Forecasting and Budgeting of the JustGiving cost base, and analysis of cost drivers, providing information to key stakeholders to enable actions are taken to ensure maximum return on expenditure
  • Lead the Monthly Operating Review of JustGiving performance presented to Chief Commercial Officer and Finance Leadership, demonstrating clear understanding of the current performance and risks and opportunities for out months
  • Support the accounting team to complete an accurate close process, ensuring that all required commentaries are completed in line with group requirements

What we need from you

  • A qualified accountant with a recognised accountancy qualification or equivalent (CIMA, MBA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Previous exposure within a dynamic B2C industry and / or a payments related businesses would be a distinct advantage
  • Superior Excel skills, including strong modelling skills and an ability to work with a variety of software functions and data sources
  • The ability to understand new business models quickly and isolate important economic drivers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact with people at various levels of the organisation
  • An independently driven individual with a strong desire to progress their career by proactively building experience and skills
