Job summary

Kwik Fit is seeking an experienced Senior Field Technician to support centres across the UK with advanced diagnostics, complex repairs and expert problem-solving. You will work across ICE, hybrid, and EV systems, diagnosing faults and performing high-quality repairs in a field-based role.

You will mentor technicians, share insights, and contribute to continuous improvement while upholding safety standards and customer satisfaction. This is a high-impact, autonomous, travel-heavy position.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise across ICE, hybrid, and EV systems.
• Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic capability.
• Comfortable using specialist tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Able to work independently and manage workload.
• Confident communicator translating technical issues clearly.
• Committed to health, safety and workmanship standards.

Responsibilities

• Respond to urgent and planned technical callouts.
• Deliver on-site diagnosis, repair and validation including road testing.
• Provide rectification backup to support customer experience.
• Coach and develop others across the network.
• Lead technical excellence through advanced diagnostics and repairs.
• Ensure safety with EV/high-voltage procedures.
