Job summary

Dawsongroup Material Handling is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, diagnose and repair forklift trucks at customer locations across South East London and Essex. You will work independently, delivering high standards of customer service and maintaining your tools and vehicle in top condition.

You should have strong mechanical knowledge of material handling equipment, a full UK driving licence, and good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Fully skilled engineer with relevant material handling experience.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently, safely and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and service forklift trucks safely, economically and with minimal supervision.
• Examine equipment and report on its condition, repairs completed, parts used and time taken.
• Maintain company tools, equipment and your service vehicle in a clean and tidy condition.
• Build positive relationships with designated customers while representing Dawsongroup professionally.
