Job summary

Dawsongroup Material Handling is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to diagnose, repair and service forklift trucks at customer sites across South East London and Essex. You’ll work independently, delivering high standards of service while managing tools and vehicle maintenance.

You should bring solid material handling experience, a full UK driving licence, and strong communication skills to build lasting customer relationships and maintain safety expectations on every job.

Qualifications

• Fully skilled engineer with relevant material handling experience.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently, safely and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and service forklift trucks safely, economically and with minimal supervision.
• Examine equipment and report on its condition, repairs completed, parts used and time taken.
• Maintain company tools, equipment and your service vehicle in a clean and tidy condition.
• Build positive relationships with designated customers while representing Dawsongroup professionally.
