Appian is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to lead technical strategy for federal engagements, guiding multi-million-dollar deals and enterprise architecture across DoD, Intel, and Civilian agencies.

You will shape pre-sales execution, advise senior leaders, and translate complex federal needs into scalable Appian roadmaps leveraging AI-powered automation and secure deployment frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years in pre-sales solutions consulting, software architecture, or strategic technology consulting, with at least 3 years supporting federal clients.
• Proven success closing high-stakes software deals with federal compliance standards (FedRAMP, FISMA, DoD RMF, Zero Trust).
• Willingness to travel 50–70% for in-person briefings and workshops across federal locations.

Responsabilités

• Own the technical execution for multi-million-dollar public sector agreements and complex federal acquisition cycles (RFIs, RFPs, OTAs).
• Serve as trusted adviser to senior agency executives and flag officers (SES, CISO, CIO).
• Turn federal requirements into Appian roadmaps focused on deployment agility, resilience, and value delivery.
• Architect compelling technical narratives using AI, Appian Data Fabric, GovCloud, IL4/5/6 and secure on-premise installations.
• Mentor junior Solutions Consultants and contribute architectural blueprints and demos to Appian's Federal Playbooks and DemoHub.
• Collaborate with Public Sector Account Executives to map whitespace, drive pipeline, and maintain a 70% win rate.
• Connect field patterns to Product Management to guide platform innovation.
