Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in York is seeking a Technical Supervisor to oversee the operation of our managed facilities, ensuring preventative maintenance is performed, responding to client requests, and identifying opportunities for improvements and additional service offerings.

You will lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, read blueprints, and manage vendor relationships while developing proposals and bids for new business. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with overtime.

Qualifications

• FM knowledge required.
• 18th Edition OR F-Gas
• Apprentice trained is advantageous
• Strong leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of facility operations, including electrical, plumbing, fire safety, security systems, and building automation systems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to these schedules.
• Respond to and resolve client requests and maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
• Manage and oversee vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, managing performance, and ensuring quality of service.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned facilities and the surrounding area.
• Assist with the development of proposals and bids for new business.
• Opportunity to grow, supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and other facility staff.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, and financial metrics.
