Job summary

Viridien is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to lead a critical data centre environment on site in the United Kingdom. You will act as deputy to the Facilities Manager, overseeing electrical authority, governance, budgets, and large infrastructure programmes, while supporting Logistics and Data Management teams to ensure seamless operations.

You will manage contractors, sustain safety standards (ISO45001/ISO27001), and drive performance reporting across site services.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification and/or equivalent
• Experience leading operational teams
• Experience managing contractors and vendors
• Health & Safety compliance knowledge (ISO45001)
• Security knowledge (ISO27001)
• IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH certification
• Experience with CAFM systems and reporting
• Technical competence across cooling, BMS and mechanical plant

Responsibilities

• Act as deputy to Facilities Manager on operational and technical matters
• Lead facilities and logistics operations and oversee budgets
• Deliver governance, project delivery and performance reporting
• Collaborate with Data Management to align and report facility data
• Manage contracts and coordinate with external vendors and contractors

Education

Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent)
