Job summary

JLL is seeking a Shift Leader for our data centre and critical facility in London. You will oversee the engineering shift team, ensure safe operations of MEP assets, and drive risk management with strong leadership and clear reporting.

You will lead maintenance programs, coordinate vendor works, and attend client and operations meetings, while upholding safety and compliance standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Critical Environments such as Banking HQ and Data Centres.
• HV Authorized Person (Experienced with HV Systems)
• Ability to lead, motivate and direct a small team of engineers.
• Willingness to attend on/off-site training, including HV training
• Strong communication and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support on-site engineering team, including internal and MEP responsibilities.
• Operate all facility systems and MV switching operations; provide concise technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and safe systems of work.
• Coordinate Specialist Vendor works with Change Management approvals.
• Maintain SLAs and manage CMMS tasks (Corrigo).
• Attend weekly operations meetings and client meetings as requested.
• Produce site-specific SOP/MOP/EOP and assist with training.
