Burhill Group Limited (BGL) is seeking an experienced Wedding/Event Manager to lead the weddings and events team at our private venue in Milton Keynes. You will coordinate with the Wedding Coordinator and Events team to deliver events to the highest standards, manage staff, and drive guest satisfaction.

You will oversee tastings, set-ups, and on-the-day operations, ensuring smooth turnarounds and upselling opportunities while maintaining consistent service quality.

Aufgaben

• Manages all aspects of the wedding/event on the day and coordinate to achieve qualitative/quantitative goals and ensure client satisfaction.
• Work closely with the Wedding Coordinator/Events team to ensure events are delivered to the expected standards.
• Deliver menu tastings prior to the event to ensure customer satisfaction throughout pre-wedding service.
• Attend final meetings with the Wedding Coordinator to ensure areas are covered and up to standards.
• Prepare all aspects of the wedding/event set up for smooth turnarounds.
• Run double function nights, manage staff, and oversee food & beverage outlets.
• Process orders through ESP/check order system and serve as appropriate.
• Upsell other items on the menu and assist with stock ordering.
• Maintain inventory controls and support co-workers with training.
• Ensure performance and appearance standards are met and delegate tasks.
• Maintain and develop food & beverage programmes to meet guest expectations and repeat business.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor local competition and industry trends and report feedback.
