Job summary

Sony Europe is seeking an experienced External Reporting & Tax Accountant to join our European finance team in Weybridge. You will lead the preparation and submission of statutory accounts, tax packs and returns for designated entities, ensuring compliance with local legislation and group policies.

You will serve as the expert for tax reporting and compliance across Sony Europe, Sports entities, and designated Global Finance Accounting entities, providing guidance to senior finance stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Part Qualified/Qualified Accountant or demonstrable significant reporting experience in a multi-company/entity environment.
• Experience of tax compliance and reporting in a multinational corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and submission of statutory accounts, tax packs and tax returns for designated entities.
• Be the go-to expert for tax reporting and compliance across Sony Europe and Sports entities.
• Oversee external partner and all aspects of tax compliance, including transfer pricing and tax positions.
• Drive process and system improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate and manage external providers and support local tax audits with Global Tax Office.
