Job summary

EY in London is seeking a Senior Manager to lead multi-country tax accounting and direct tax engagements under US GAAP and IFRS. You’ll drive improvements to tax reporting processes, ensure compliance with BEPS Pillar Two and SOX controls, and supervise cross-border teams delivering high-quality tax outcomes for clients.

You will partner with internal tax and finance teams, mentor junior staff, and shape engagement strategies while navigating a dynamic regulatory landscape.

Qualifications

• ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
• Strong tax accounting skills and working knowledge of ASC 740 and IAS 12.
• Experience with tax accounting packages and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to manage projects under tight timelines and coordinate cross-border teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-country tax accounting and direct tax engagements under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Design and implement tax operating models for multinational clients.
• Mentor and develop staff on ASC 740, IAS 12 and related concepts.
• Collaborate with internal tax, accounting, and finance teams, and external service providers.
