Job summary

Sony Europe is seeking a financially astute, technically strong Financial Accountant to lead statutory accounts, tax packs and returns for European entities and sports divisions.

You will serve as the subject matter expert on statutory reporting and tax compliance, guiding senior finance stakeholders across Sony Europe. The role emphasizes governance, compliance and value addition in a complex international setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in statutory reporting and tax compliance.
• Ability to work in a multi-entity environment across Europe.
• Experience with finance shared services or BPO is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and submission of statutory accounts and tax packs for designated European entities.
• Be the go-to expert for tax reporting and compliance across Sony Europe and sports entities.
• Oversee external partner and all aspects of tax compliance, including reporting and transfer pricing.
• Drive process and system improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate external providers and support local tax audits with Global Tax Office.
• Deliver accurate tax and financial data and support local statutory requirements.
• Provide proactive finance guidance to internal stakeholders and liaise with Group Reporting, Global Tax, and local teams.
