Job summary

J.P. Morgan in London is seeking an Experience Design Senior Associate within Operations Experience Design (OXD) to shape the user experience of our financial services products.

You'll leverage advanced knowledge of experience design to create innovative, inclusive solutions that align user needs with business goals, collaborating with Data Science, Technology, and Operations teams. Joining a tight-knit OXD group, you will help design how people interact with AI/ML capabilities across enterprise

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a user experience design role focused on digital products.
• Experience designing for AI-enabled or data-intensive products.
• Ability to design across web, mobile, and enterprise workflows.
• Strong understanding of inclusive design and accessibility.
• Ability to transform data into actionable design decisions.
• Collaborates with Data Science, Technology, and Operations teams.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design elegant solutions to specific interaction problems and ensure consistency across multiple products and platforms.
• Design the human-AI interaction experience for AI/ML capabilities, including workflows and operational models.
• Partner with Data Science, Technology, and Operations teams to define how AI/ML outputs are presented, explained, reviewed, and acted on within workflows.
• Apply advanced knowledge of information architecture and storyboarding to create user-centric designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate inclusive design principles and accessibility guidelines.
• Conduct data-driven analysis to inform design decisions and translate data into insights.
• Operate with an iterative design mindset and incorporate user feedback to improve experiences.
• Assist in analyzing market trends and user research to inform design decisions.
