Job summary

Sonata Software seeks an Exchange Customer Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Exchange Hybrid, Exchange Online, and on-premises deployments. The role focuses on enterprise-grade architecture, administration, troubleshooting, migration, and hybrid messaging support.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years of overall IT experience required.
• Solid Exchange Online and On-Premises experience.
• Proven experience with Exchange Hybrid environments.
• Active SC Security Clearance required.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience working in enterprise/customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Exchange Server 2016/2019/SE and Exchange Online.
• Design, implement and maintain Exchange Hybrid environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot HCW, hybrid mail flow and secure mail routing.
• Manage DAG, mailbox databases, transport services, connectors, certificates and virtual directories.
• Troubleshoot mail flow, Autodiscover, Outlook connectivity and mailbox access.
• Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, shared/resource mailboxes, distribution groups and Microsoft 365 Groups.
• Configure mail flow rules, retention, archiving and compliance policies.
• Support Exchange Online Protection and Defender for Office 365.
• Support Exchange migrations between On-Premises and Exchange Online.
• Manage SPF, DKIM and DMARC configurations.
• Use PowerShell for administration and automation.
