Job summary

Sonata Software is seeking an Exchange Customer Engineer with strong hybrid expertise in Exchange Online and on-premises deployments. The role focuses on enterprise SharePoint architecture, administration, migration, and hybrid messaging alongside Exchange administration.

You will design and support Exchange Hybrid environments, configure HCW, and manage mail flow, DAGs and security policies while engaging with customers and colleagues to deliver robust messaging solutions.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years of IT experience with enterprise messaging and identity.
• Solid Exchange Online and on-premises experience, including hybrid environments.
• Proven track record with Exchange migrations and hybrid configurations.
• Excellent English communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Exchange Server 2016/2019/SE and Exchange Online.
• Design, implement and maintain Exchange Hybrid environments.
• Configure HCW, hybrid mail flow and secure mail routing.
• Manage DAG, mailbox databases, transport services, connectors and certificates.
• Troubleshoot mail flow, Autodiscover, Outlook connectivity and authentication issues.
• Manage Exchange Online mailboxes and groups; configure retention and compliance policies.
• Support EOP and Defender for Office 365; assist migrations between on-premises and online.
• Manage SPF, DKIM and DMARC; use PowerShell for automation.
