Job summary

Sonata Software in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Exchange Customer Engineer to manage Exchange Online and On-Premises, and to design hybrid messaging solutions for enterprise environments.

You will administer Exchange Server 2016/2019, configure Hybrid Configuration Wizard, manage DAGs and mail flow, troubleshoot Autodiscover and connectivity, and use PowerShell for automation. Strong English communication and customer-facing skills are required.

Qualifications

• Extensive Exchange Online and On-Premises experience.
• Strong knowledge of Hybrid Exchange environments and HCW.
• Experience with mail flow, Autodiscover and mailbox connectivity.
• Proven scripting with PowerShell for automation.
• Excellent written and spoken English; customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Exchange Server 2016/2019 and Exchange Online.
• Design, implement and maintain Exchange Hybrid environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot HCW, hybrid mail flow and secure mail routing.
• Manage DAGs, mailbox databases, transport services, connectors, certificates and virtual directories.
• Troubleshoot mail flow, Autodiscover, Outlook connectivity, mailbox access and authentication issues.
• Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, shared/resource mailboxes, distribution groups and Microsoft 365 Groups.
• Configure mail flow rules, retention, archiving and compliance policies.
• Support Exchange Online Protection (EOP) and Defender for Office 365.
• Support Exchange migrations between On-Premises and Exchange Online.
• Manage SPF, DKIM and DMARC configurations.
• Use PowerShell for administration and automation.
