Leonardo UK Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks a Systems Design Authority (Delivery) to lead the technical delivery of EW Payload capabilities, shaping solutions for customers and operators from concept to implementation.

The role requires strong leadership across the lifecycle, with a focus on design, development, qualification, certification and delivery of complex EW solutions. It involves customer engagement, strategy input, and risk-based decision making.

Qualifications

• Significant technical leadership experience in defence/aerospace or regulated industries.
• Strong systems engineering background with end-to-end delivery experience.
• Experience across Requirements Management, Verification, Qualification, Acceptance, Design Certification, and Customer Acceptance.

Responsabilités

• Own the technical solution for EW Payload programmes from concept through delivery.
• Develop CONOPS/CONUSE with customers translating needs into system requirements.
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams guiding trade-offs on performance, cost, schedule, quality and risk.
• Identify, assess and manage technical risks and opportunities with informed decisions.
• Shape future product strategy and roadmaps with stakeholders.
• Review bids/proposals and provide independent technical assessment.
• Coach and mentor engineers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
