Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd seeks a Lead Systems Engineer/Design Authority to provide technical oversight of the NATO JEWCS Integrated Project Team, across the EW training system assets and related IT infrastructure. You will lead architecture and ensure system integrity, collaborating with internal and supplier teams to meet customer requirements.

The role requires strong lifecycle knowledge, stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate complex EW domain challenges.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a STEM subject with strong numerical, analytical and design skills.
• Solid understanding of systems engineering lifecycle and architecture activities.
• Experience influencing system design and integration of a major system.
• Chartered engineer or IET member desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight across the system and subsystems.
• Lead the architecture team through the project lifecycle.
• Interface with customers and engineering teams to ensure requirements are met.
• Support design reviews and technical risk assessments.
• Travel within the UK and abroad as required.
