Job summary

AccorInvest UK is seeking an experienced Reservations & Events professional in Cambourne to manage enquiries, drive revenue through upselling, and coordinate group bookings. You’ll build relationships with corporate clients and collaborate with Revenue, Sales, Front Office, F&B and Operations to deliver seamless events.

The role requires strong communication, organisational skills and prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Reservations, Meetings & Events or Hotel Sales.
• Strong commercial awareness and revenue focus.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all reservations and events enquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
• Drive bedroom, meetings and events revenue through effective conversion and upselling.
• Coordinate group accommodation bookings and event requirements.
• Build strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies and local businesses.
• Work closely with Revenue, Sales, Front Office, F&B and Operations teams.
• Manage function sheets and communicate event details to operational departments.
• Monitor booking trends, forecasts and business levels.
• Ensure all reservations are accurately maintained within Opera PMS.
• Handle guest and client feedback professionally and efficiently.
• Lead, coach and develop the team
• Drive Loyalty program with clients
