Job summary

Pennyhill Park, part of The Exclusive Collection, is seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead high-quality show rounds, plan and execute luxury events, and nurture client relationships.

You will mentor junior colleagues, manage busy schedules, upsell opportunities and ensure seamless hotel operations, guest satisfaction, and revenue growth. This on-site role at Bagshot offers a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in event management within a luxury hotel or venue.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and event planning processes.
• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with great attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across levels.
• Experience leading meetings and presenting information clearly.
• Strong commercial awareness with focus on conversion, upselling, and revenue.
• Competent with event management systems (HART preferred).
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to coach and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the smooth running of the Events office in the absence of the Event Manager, ensuring priorities are managed effectively and business continuity is maintained.
• Effectively manage events for the hotel, collating all relevant information and assist clients in all event planning stages.
• Support departmental projects and initiatives designed to improve guest satisfaction, revenue performance, and colleague engagement.
• Proactively identify opportunities to up-sell and maximise event revenue whilst enhancing the guest experience.
