Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience building/operating distributed systems in production.
• Experience with Kafka or similar event streaming systems.

• Experience with infrastructure automation and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate large-scale event streaming infrastructure.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and observability of Kafka and EventBus.
• Debug distributed systems issues including performance bottlenecks.
• Develop automation and self-healing to reduce toil.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions.
• Help shape the long-term architecture of the platform.
