Qualifications

• Significant experience building web-based applications in a modern stack (Go, Ruby, Python, Scala).
• Proven ability to design and operate web architecture at scale with high traffic.
• Ownership of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL backends (Redis, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch).
• High-Scale Architecture: design and operate systems handling massive request volumes and complex workflows.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical authority, aligning non-adjacent teams to deliver results.
• Define and design technical solutions for complex problems in a high-traffic environment (20krpm+).
• Influence long-term technical roadmap and manage project timelines and risks.
• Mentor and coach engineers across levels and help scale engineering culture.
• Lead engineering interviews and contribute to recruiting strategy to maintain a high talent bar.
