Fairmont St Andrews is seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to lead the Event Operations team in a luxury five-star setting. You will own the delivery of conferences, banquets, weddings and private functions, ensuring flawless execution and guest satisfaction.

You will lead, motivate and develop a capable team, coordinating with Planning, Culinary, F&B and Technical Services to ensure seamless event delivery while monitoring staffing, costs and compliance across all operations.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Events, Banqueting or Food & Beverage operations.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
• Strong operational planning and cost control skills.

Aufgaben

• Oversee conferences, banquets, private dining and events across the resort and ensure successful delivery.
• Lead, motivate and develop the Event Operations team.
• Plan staffing, equipment, room layouts and service for each event.
• Ensure event spaces are prepared on time according to BEOs and Fairmont standards.
• Take a visible leadership role during events and resolve issues promptly.
• Build strong client, organiser and guest relationships and address concerns professionally.
• Collaborate with Events Planning, Culinary, Food & Beverage and Technical Services teams for seamless delivery.
• Manage rotas, staffing levels and payroll, balancing business needs with cost control.
• Monitor expenditure, stock levels and inventories to ensure availability and maintenance.
• Ensure health and safety, food hygiene and licensing compliance across operations.
• Review client feedback and identify opportunities to improve service and guest experience.
