Exxon Mobil Corporation in London seeks a Gas Trading Analyst to join the Global Trading Analytics team, working closely with trading desks to deliver market insights and robust analytical support.

You will develop and apply models, forecast gas prices, and contribute to trading strategies, collaborating with multi-cultural teams and external partners. The role is based in central London with opportunities to grow in advanced analytics and data tooling.

Qualifications

• Be educated to Degree level in a numeric discipline (Engineering, Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics) or equivalent
• Have previous experience in European Gas Trading teams
• Experience developing Gas price forecasts within a trading/consultancy environment

Responsabilités

• Provide market expertise, fundamental analysis, statistical modelling and opportunity & risk identification to support Gas trading, structuring and origination activities
• Research and interpret fundamental drivers across the European Gas space and translate into market views and forward price outlooks
• Lead the development and improvement of analytical tools to deliver insights from market fundamentals
• Develop and enhance existing tools to improve insights from market data
• Lead collaboration with internal and external developers and evaluate external tools for business use
• Stay up-to-date with leading-edge analytics techniques, technologies and tools
